Tim Carless Solo Concert At 12 Bar Club, London

Tim Carless came to do a solo concert at the famous 12 Bar Club in London on a hot summer night in 1998. His set started with some amazing guitar riffs and off he went for over an hour of amazing songs and musical prowess. He performs many of the songs on his 1996 CD release “Presently Tense” and his song “Beautiful” is our featured taster video on our channels. He moves from guitar to 12 strings, to 6 strings, throws in some harmonica, and off you go for a night of amazing music.

After this performance Tim went off to India traveling around for most of 2001 to unravel the universe and his own hidden mysteries.

Tim Carless wrote, recorded and performed with the likes of Wreckless Eric, Aufgehoben and Paul McCartney. During the 90’s, about the time of this OnlineTV.com video broadcast he started The Mockin’ Bird Recording Company in Brighton. What Tim was can be measured in what he left behind in the abundance of people he helped and brought joy to throughout his life. Teaching guitar was one way as he was known to tailor lessons to the desires and ambitions of those he taught, bringing stars to light. He was also known as a climate campaigner, but even more so of a challenger to those elected who do not represent their people.

Primarily, I’m a guitar player, but I play bass and the piano as well. I spent the better part of a decade as a working and touring guitar player as well as doing some recording sessions. After that, I opened a recording studio in Brighton, just south of London. Through that experience, I become more involved in the recording process, like as an engineer. That’s when I started getting involved in creating music for things other than records and albums, like advertising, independent films, television. That’s basically what I’ve been doing ever since, and after my time in England, I moved to the US, to LA then NY and then NC.

Tim Carless recently passed on and we want to donate 10% for every download to his foundation. We are researching just where this will go right now. As I reflect on the losses the music world has endured and watch those I curated for the OnlineTV.com broadcasts slowly leave behind legacies I am deeply saddened. My only hope to leave behind as many recordings I have done of these, not just famous, but amazing human beings whose talents I hope to spread around the globe to continue to affect millions.
