Wonderful performance demonstrating the various vocal abilities and showmanship of this amazing talent. After I went to her website I wondered if she was not a Peter Pan as she seems to get younger, stronger, and better with the years. We were so lucky she came to the UK and share her musical passions with us at the legendary 12 Bar Club. Reminiscent of Suzi Ragsdale or Deanna Varagona she can really wail a tune. While you cant find this performance in her history it is the earliest – 5 years before Youtube existed or any of the others listed in her press.

Astounding guitar picking, vocal gyrations, song writing and a vibe that just goes on to the heavens. OnlineTV saw the potential, brought her to the global video broadcast and the rest is history.

Who is Sara Melson

Sara Melson is an actress, singer, and songwriter from West Lafayette, Indiana. She attended Harvard University as an honors student with a degree in English. A theater actress since childhood, she attended the prestigious Williamstown Theater Festival and studied theater under Robert Brustein at the American Repertory Theater in Cambridge, appearing in leading roles in numerous Harvard productions. After that she did a lot of early work for TV like Desperate But Not Serious (2000), Boston Common (1996), and Women: Stories of Passion (1996)

Moving to Los Angeles after graduation, she landed prominent guest stars and recurring roles on shows such as Beverly Hills 90210, Frasier, The Wonder Years, Murder She Wrote, Melrose Place, and many others, as well as parts in Harold Becker’s “Malice”, George Hickenlooper’s “The Low Life” and “The Big Brass Ring”, and teen cult horror flick “Dr. Giggles” for Universal. She then turned her attention from acting to songwriting in the early 2000’s, playing live shows with a band, developing material and recording, and ultimately signing to Nettwerk Records in 2008 to release her debut album “Dirty Mind,” which was featured in high-profile sync placements on Grey’s Anatomy, Lipstick Jungle, and Men In Trees, as well as in a national multi-spot Chevy campaign. She has since released the independent “A Million White Stars” and more recently “Wound Too Tight” done help from Rami Jaffee (Foo Fighters).
