Description
Reverend Pike Live At The Bull & Gate, London For OnlineTV
Lost Concerts presents Reverend Pike live at the fabulous Bull & Gate club in London’s fashionable Kentishtown area. With two concerts here to choose from you have an opportunity to catch this power trio in the early days. Tight punk fashion leaves you stomping you feet along with the sometimes disjointed harmonic distortions. A bit like Rabies Babies or 3 Ant Riot Riotmiloo as you get into their grooves you can find the similarities. Great music.
Who are Reverend Pike
With Leigh Curtis on guitar, Laurence Curtis on drums and Rebecca Gillieron (Rivka Gillieron) on the bass doing the vocals you have the makings of mean rocking machine.
How about that name Reverend Pike
Leigh came up with the name and though we’re not really sure why we’ve kept it. But there is a story where a man called Reverend Royston Pike was buried upside down on top of this hill near where we live so you could say we’re named after him.
Where are Reverend Pike today
“Rebecca and I are still playing music, here’s a link to our current band, The Plan…https://theplan1.bandcamp.com/ There’s an album we released in 2017 on there and we’ll hopefully get our second album out by the end of the year. Cheers for the interest!” Leigh Curtis
