Mark Dignam Live At 12 Bar Club, London
Mark Dignam came onto the 12 Bar Club stages to deliver a show to a massive crowd that included many other famed musicians as well as 12 Bar Club staff, who were great fans. The packed house gave rousing support to the creative talent that Mark Dignam provides. Most of the songs from his upcoming (at the time) CD “In A Time Of Overstatement” and I have given you a real rarity as a video taster of this amazing set as he sings “Red Spray Can.” The crowd, loving every minute of this performance, kept packing in throughout the almost one hour set Mark presents here.
His songs really are a reflection of the man himself and in this show he not only sings his songs but gives you a live perspective and interludes into what really is Mark Dignam. Powerful, poignant, and talented his command of the stage & fearless presentation grabs you by the guts as you end up laughing, crying, and loving along with Mark’s variety of song, a true experience.
Who is Mark Dignam
Mark is an Irish born and bred singer songwriter who paid his dues on the streets of Dublin as a busker and worked his way through to an energetic and established performer before re-locating to Pittsburgh in the good old USA.
Mark Dignam crafts accessible, politically charged, witty, and reflective observations of life, love, and death in the spirit of Van Morrison, Billy Bragg, John Wesley Harding, and Josh Ritter. Originally a Dublin busker (alongside Frames/Swell Season frontman Glenn Hansard),
“Mark is currently working on a new album An American Tune with producer/engineer Steve Seel. The album will reflect on his experiences as an immigrant (and now naturalized U.S citizen) and mix elements of both Irish and U.S musical cultures“.- Mark Dignam
