Both artists working with Paul Sampson, both beautiful, both singing songs of love, harmony, disharmony, along with broken and elusive love. Voices soaring into the night these two are a picture of loveliness. Each of the woman play and sing solo as well as duets so you get a full taste of each singer songwriter. The video breaks up here and there but it is a piece of history and the only recording of these two in the archives for 12 Bar Club.

Who is Anna Page

Anna was lead singer & guitarist for all girl band Deluxor in the late 90s, then wrote songs with producer Paul Sampson, before going solo. She busked on London Underground for 2 years, before moving to Wiltshire where she taught music, got a distinction in a Masters degree in Songwriting and recorded Stars & Rockets. She now lives in Hastings where she performs, paints, writes and teaches music. You can get Anna Pages latest release with this link.

Who is Lil’ Lost Lou

Camden local and London born Lou Psyche aka Lil’ Lost Lou started writing songs before she could play an instrument. She is a London-based country/rockabilly songwriter. Lou Psyche alias Lil’ Lost Lou released her debut solo album in 2017 and was produced by Billy Livsey featuring bassist Dave Roe (Johnny Cash, Chet Atkins, Sturgill Simpson); pedal-steel player Russ Pahl (Glen Campbell, Patty Loveless, Kacey Musgraves); guitarist Stuart Mathis (Chris Isaak, Lucinda Williams), and drummer Justin Amaral (Junior Brown, Tommy Womack).

Born and raised in Camden Town, Lou has shared stages with the likes of Anna Page, Wanda Jackson, Billy Childish, Pete Doherty, Wilko Johnson, The Urban Voodoo Machine and Fat White Family. She was taught guitar by John Etheridge of Soft Machine. She sang ‘Don’t Bogart That Joint’ over the closing credits of the 2010 film Mr Nice so is a sure stoner.
