KaitO Live At Bull And Gate
KaitO was an English indie rock band from Norwich, formed in 1996. Their music consisted of loud, pop-punk melodies combined with a unique mix of guitar effects. The band split up in 2006.

Bull and Gate was an amazing place. It had a nice back stage area, great sound, great lighting (on nights when the lighting guy was there) and it was broadcasting bands live every night over the Internet. This was two decades ago my friends. The Bull and Gate provided some of our best rock bands out of the UK. They booked some of the best.
KaitO take the stage at Bull and Gate
and rule it for almost 30 minutes. Powerful and quirky the band reaches out with its’ own brand of music. There are few to compare them to. Unique for their time. KaitO are one of the few groups who played both at Bull and Gate in full rock and roll glory and at the 12 Bar in an intimate sort of acoustic KaitO. I will try to get that 12 Bar gig up here soon. There are real problems with the deterioration of the digital tape. It is over 20 years old gang!
The band was formed in 1996, and after five years in which they released three singles on small labels, the signed a European deal with Fierce Panda and an American deal with Devil in the Woods in 2001. They played mostly in England, but also toured the United States on many occasions.
The band’s debut album was released in August 2001 on the Devil in the Woods label, entitled You’ve Seen Us..You Must Have Seen Us….This was quickly followed up with a single, “Cat Nap”, on the Fierce Panda label, while British music critics praised KaitO’s unique punky sound
KaitO at 12 Bar Club
The set at the 12 bar club comes after their first record deals and CD releases. The 30 minute set is in an intimate environment in the most legendary of clubs, 12 Bar Club. The tapes were reconditioned as they were so deteriorated. You may find jumps and glitches but it does not distract from the sets and certainly this amazing collection of this band are well worth any price.
