Jake Rodrigues came to our fabulous 12 Bar Club stage several times and here you have a chance to be there too! With energy that explodes all over the stage you will certainly be entertained. As Jake plays a variety of stringed instruments, adding the accordion along the way, his finger picking, hammer on, and lyrics take you on a journey only a great musician can take you.
Sometimes his guitar work reminds me of Eric Roche as he picks his way with ease through his original songs. Well worth the listen my friends.
Who is Jake Rodrigues
Jake is a UK vocalist, guitarist and harmonica player who has played in several groups including The Four Good Reasons and The Hula Bluebirds
London based Jake Rodrigues has a wide range of music interests but his work has a strong leaning towards the community & social aspects of music. He teaches & performs to both young & old. His songwriting & performing builds bridges between ages & demographics, and his styles of presentation, skills & performance does the same.
These days Jake spends his time on various projects and all of them are socially engaging and his warm sharing personality is always there to open doors. His songs sing of life lived and roads traveled. And as he states in this video his favorite “home” to play was the 12 Bar Club where a warm friendly crowd was always there to cheer one on.
Jake’s work with the young and teaching music has won him praises around London and the world for that matter. The good works of great musicians should be appreciated and helped along the way,
