Bowling for Soup visits OnlineTV.com
It was during the CMJ Music Festival in New York City on a warm summer night July 24, 1998 and OnlineTV was broadcasting all the groups signing a release over the Internet. The first broadcast was done over modem speeds of 28kb, I mean real slow, connections and the size of the screen was postage stamp sized. Well, thanks to Rick Siegel, we now have taken the original tapes from over 2 decades ago and digitized them.
Bowling for Soup earliest video broadcast
Bowling for Soup originally formed in Wichita Falls, Texas, in 1994. They came to our stage at the Spiral to showcase their talent to New York City and the world through our OnlineTV Internet broadcast by Rick Siegel. They had the energy and the talent to pack the room and enlarge their audience both in the city and around the world.
The band understood the stage, and the camera. Jaret was certainly happy to pan for the camera and all this made for a superb set.
