Jack Pedler Live At Spiral Lounge for OnlineTV Джек Педлер
While he was living in NYC on the Lower East Side Jack paid us a visit at the Spiral Lounge where he test drove his new creations that would be his first recorded solo CD. So here is his first recorded solo video of Fairyland It Aint. And I can tell you from the beginning that it is filled with the wildness of the times. From the Dumpster Juice to Knees Deep you can feel the rage, poetry, and excitement that is Jack Pedler. Best of all this video presents Jack as he was, on the streets of New York Lower East Side. Raw, crude and rude, what more can you ask for? My advice is to jump on this Jack treasure, a look in the past. You can also find one of his bands Peppercorn who played at Spiral a few months before this concert.
Who is Jack Pedler
Canadian born Jack Pedler began as a drummer with post-punk bands Coyote Shivers, Nightboys and Teenage Mind. His debut single LP, Fairyland It Ain’t, was released 1998. Drummer and songwriter extraordinaire Jack Pedler started his career as a teenager playing in the Warner Bros / RCA recording band, Buxton Kastle. He went on with Canadian icons The Mercy Brothers, Ray Materick and finally with the nationally acclaimed punk band, Teenage Head, with whom he still performs after two decades.
During his years with “The Head“, Jack relocated to NY city and recorded his first solo CD, Fairyland It Ain’t for Mutiny Records. Then, switching labels and producers, he found his way to Race Records where he created his critically acclaimed CD, D. T. Delinquent. Jack is recognized a top session drummer on the Canadian music scene.
Jack received the 2005 Hamilton Music Awards nomination for Best Drummer.
