Rita Lynch Live At 12 Bar Club London
When Rita Lynch takes the stage there is no one else to focus except for her and that incredible power; the outsider lyrics, and the absolute control as emotion packed songs ring out. The 12 Bar Club in London is the perfect place for her music. With songs resplendent with stories and feelings from this absolute genius one is left breathless. This 40 minute concert appearance at the legendary stage at 12 Bar Club is an historical solo show by an incredible artist. Rita has total control over the stage, she does not miss a beat on the guitar and her singing just does not stop and is at its’ peak at all times. Rita Lynch does not let you down.
Once Rita got out on her own her first shows were with Rita & The Piss Artists an all-girl punk band.
Rita said “Playing bass guitar seemed the easiest, the band became an excuse to get drunk a lot.”
When Rita and The Piss Artists broke up she joined God Bless You initially as a bassist. Finding that she had a good singing voice Lynch dropped the bass & concentrated on vocals which she shared with Dave Ryan. When God Bless You faded out Lynch decided to launch herself as a singer-songwriter, and this is where this collector concert came from – those days as singer-songwriter.
